Boston, 0ct. 13 - Today's victory by the Boston Braves is the first time in the history of baseball that any team has won the world's championship by taking the first four consecutive games of the series.
At the conclusion of the game the great crowd that had seen the Boston win went wild. They swarmed the field and danced like mad men, but soon were sufficiently calm to listen to speeches by President Gaftney and Manager Stallings, of the Boston Club, which was the first National League team to win the world's pennant in five years.
