The Brown's win their first pennant since joining the league in 1902. 

The all-St. Louis World Series.  The Browns had great pitching with an era of 1.49.  Denny Galehouse threw 18 innings and gave up 3 earned runs while Kramer pitched 11 with no earned runs. 

In the six games the Browns gave up 9 earned runs and and the Cardinal 12.  The Browns committed 10 errors to the Cardinals 1.  Giving the Cardinals a total of 16 runs compared to the Browns 12.
