April 13 - Wisconsin Circuit Court Judge Elmer Roller rules that the Atlanta Braves must return to Milwaukee by May 16th unless the National League exspands to put a team in Milwaukee by next year - baseball executives plan on fighting the rulling

June 11 - Koufax (9-2) beats the Phillies 6-3 - Reds sweep the Cardinals in a doubleheader, taking over 1st place - Pirates Bill Skinner walked 6 times in the last 2 games (4 intentional) - Milwaukee Braves' Warren Spahn hits a three-run homer and records his 295 win while pitching in relief - Tigers' Norm Cash hits 3 HR's in the doubleheader, one clearing the 91 feet high rf fence, only Ted Williams and Mickey Mantle have cleared the roof

June 12 - Norm Cash is half-way to the 18 HR record for a month with 18 days remaining, Tigers' Rudy York broke Babe Ruth's record in 1937

July 1 - Dodgers' Sandy Koufax aiming for 15 wins at the half-way point to a 30 game season is stopped by the Cardinals in a 2-0 game - raising his ERA to 1.60 - Astros' Mike Celluar trying to go 7-0 throws 3 hit ball in 11 innings, Raymond took over and got the win

August 1 - Dodgers' reliever Phil Regan goes to 10-1 with an ERA of 1.52 - Toledo Mudhens' Bobby Murcer's average drops to .263, the 20 year old SS has 2 hits in his last 50 ab's - Rich Allen's inside the park HR gives Phillie the win over the Astros in the 10th -
